Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is an effective treatment for a variety of orthopedic injuries and neurologic conditions.
Physical therapy addresses the illnesses or injuries that limit a person’s ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Our physical therapists use an individual’s history, physical examination, and personal goals to determine a treatment plan that is unique to that person.
Physical therapy treatment is usually a combination of hands-on treatment and activity -specific exercises to help alleviate symptoms and improve strength and mobility, to achieve maximum function. Specifically, this may include sports therapy, balance training, gait training, stretching and strengthening exercises, and a variety of manual techniques and modalities to help reduce pain and swelling.
