Athletic Training
In addition to providing sports therapy in our clinics, Northeast Rehab employs a team of Certified Athletic Trainers who are contracted to provide on-site coverage of athletic programs at several area high schools. Athletic trainers (ATs) are certified healthcare professionals who collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, parents, and coaches to optimize activity and participation of their athletes. Athletic Training encompasses the prevention, evaluation, and treatment, of both athletic and non-sports injuries. Our team of school-based athletic trainers work with student-athletes throughout the year to help prepare them for their season, keep them healthy while in-season and provide guidance for recovery in the off-season. Athletic trainers play a critical role in the success of local high school athletics programs.
