Maya Abdominal Massage Therapy
The Arvigo techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage address the position and health of pelvic and abdominal organs and improves organ function by releasing physical and emotional congestion from the abdomen.
The massage is performed in a slow, deep, penetrating manner to the abdomen and lower back which helps to guide internal reproductive organs into their proper position. By softening deep muscle tissue spasms, it also helps to release muscular tension.
This massage corrects poor blood flow in the abdomen and the organs vital to digestion, assimilation, elimination, secretions and reproduction.
Other conditions treated include:
- Bowel and bladder therapy
- Lymphedema management
- Pelvic pain syndromes
- Post-menopausal conditioning
- Post-surgical conditions
- Pre- and post-partum exercise
- Stress management
